Not one to be outdone by friends, I have created my very own blog for your time killing pleasure.
Me and Jeff after getting married. You can see some people in the background outside the window, which is very funny looking back on the day, but made me irate a few minutes leading up to the ceremony! When we rented the venue they asked if we would like to rent to pool area as well. It's a beautiful area and I was itching to open it up with some tables and chairs, but Texas in May is so hot, humid, and full of mosquitoes that nobody in their right mind would venture outside to hang out, so we decided against it. Maybe this should have been common sense, but I really think they should have told us that not renting the pool area would result in the pool area being open to the general public, and a very hairy chested Speedo man walking back and forth in front of the large floor to ceiling window during our ceremony, and taking big long stretches here and there. Sigh. We had no idea what the pool hours were, so we just went along with the ceremony. It started at 6:45 and ended at 6:55. The pool promptly closed at 7pm. Lol!
Quinn and I. Diane is really good at standing behind the photographer and snapping shots as he is finishing his shot, so we already have an idea of what the professional pics will look like. I'm excited to get them back!
